Purchasing a Franchise or Going Independent?
My cousin has worked for a number of home health care businesses over the years. Now she is thinking about opening her own. First, she has to make a decision though. Does she want to go with a franchise or does she want to open her own independent company? Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Personally I think she should purchase a franchise of a company as most have already achieved name recognition. This is often half the battle when opening a business, getting people to remember who you are. There are fees associated with this, but they are definitely worth it for what you are getting.
