Top Diamond Clarity Grades

When buying a diamond, you’ve all heard about the famous “Four Cs”. They are cut, carat, clarity and color.  This time, I would like to focus on “diamond Clarity.”  There are a number of different clarity grades that you must be familiar with.  The “IF” or “FL” grade means either Internally Flawless or Flawless, and they both essentially mean that the diamond is free from any internal inclusions, or blemishes.  The next two grades are called VVS1 and VVS2. They stand for Very very slightly included 1st degree and very very slightly included 2nd degree.  The next two are Diamond VS1 and VS2 clarity grades which stand for Very Small Inclusions 1st degree and Very Small Inclusions 2nd degree.
