Computer Would Not Start

I went to turn my computer on the other day and it would not start up properly.  It would get to the windows screen and just hang.  I couldn’t believe it was happening, as I had no sign that it was going to happen the night before.  I pulled out the fdisk mbr and was able to get my computer to start up.  I went into safe mode and ran a virus scan and sure enough there was a virus on my computer.  I was able to remove it and then ran a few other programs to make sure there was nothing left.  I was so happy I had that tool on hand.
